I offer low force chiropractic care for patients in the Walnut Creek, Berkeley, Oakland, Emeryville and the surrounding S.F. Bay Area.
This effective technique, called Directional Non-Force Technique or D.N.F.T., is considered an alternative to invasive and/or rough manipulative therapies for relieving the pain of the back, head ache, neck and of extremities such as carpal tunnel syndrome, knee pain and sprained ankles.
D.N.F.T. adjustments align and affect elements of the body such a the nervous system, muscles, tendons, ligaments and other soft tissue.
Patients appreciate that there is no twisting motions or popping sounds with D.N.F.T. There is also more diagnosis for accuracy and deeper correction which is why I only use this technique.
DNFT TREATMENT SCHEDULE
Your first visit will include facts of your condition and history, an exam, evaluation, diagnosis and your DNFT treatment. Your condition determines whether your treatment schedule typically includes 6–9 visits. Request an appointment.
X-RAY, IMAGING REFERRALS
X-rays are typically not mandatory. When medically necessary, MRIs and x-rays are recommended. I will also refer you to other modalities such as physical therapy, therapeutic massage, acupuncture, or lab work.
REHABILITATION & PREVENTION
Success of your case depends on your participation. As your condition releases multiple layers of stress and misalignment, correct home care may be important.
